Windows 11: New Display Bug Confirmed by Microsoft

These days, a lot of users are upgrading their devices from Windows 10 to Windows 11. When it comes to the range of features, the change from one OS to another is not that impressive. However, there is one bug that many users noticed when they started using Windows 11 and it has to do with how colors are displayed.

If you just started using Windows 11, you may have noticed that there is something wrong with the HDR monitor colors. This is not your eyes betraying you or your faulty monitor, but rather a bug that was just confirmed by Microsoft. The company has received plenty of reports from users and admitted that they have problems with the display of rare color profiles. As a result, some monitors have problems displaying white or yellow images in a number of editing apps.

Microsoft posted a report on their page and said that ‘some image editing programs might not render colors correctly on certain HDR displays.’ The company mentioned that this problem hasn’t affected all color profile editing programs. According to Microsoft, the options offered in the Settings of Windows 11, such as Microsoft Color Control Panel, should function in a normal way. The developers mentioned that the team is actively working on finding the fix for this problem and they expect everything to work correctly in January. At the moment, we just have to wait and see whether the new update will fix the mentioned problem. There have been some other glitches that became apparent after installing the latest Windows version, but hopefully, they will all be removed soon.

Have you noticed this problem after installing Windows 11? Are there are any other issues you may have experienced with the new browser? Please, tell us what you think about Windows 11 in the comments below!
