Warframe: 1999 Will Receive a Prologue Quest, The Lotus Eaters, in August

The captivating appearance of Warframe: 1999 has piqued the interest of fans of Digital Extremes' complimentary action RPG, leading to curiosity about related content. Luckily, the impending August update, The Lotus Eaters, is set to offer a short quest that prepares players for the anticipated expansion. 

This update will act as a precursor to Warframe: 1999. Although details are limited at this time, it's been hinted that The Man in the Wall, a major antagonist, won't be passively waiting. Current indications suggest that his faction, The Murmur, is striving to break away from Dr Albrecht Entrati’s labs, a move that may threaten the stability of the Origin System.

Given that the Protoframes featured in the expansion are in pursuit of Entrati, it's feasible that the events of 1999 may prove to be pivotal for The Murmur. 

The release of Warframe: 1999 is set for this winter and will be available free of charge across all platforms.
