Twitter Goes More Cross Platform

Twitter intensifies its cross-platform experience for users. It adds several buttons, including LinkedIn and WhatsApp, making tweet engagement more advanced. If you want to share your tweets on your LinkedIn page and amaze possible employers, you can do it right away.

Twitter is trying to expand the number of social networks users can interact with. They offer to spread the tweets the user liked on WhatsApp and LinkedIn pages. Currently, this option is tested in India.

The new buttons on Twitter’s page appeared recently. Since WhatsApp is the most popular messenger in India, Twitter decided to reveal this button in the first place. It provided over 487 million users the choice to spread the posts they like to each other. The WhatsApp button is visible in the right lower corner of the tweet. You will see the icon with the familiar sign. Users from India see the icon of WhatsApp in the engagement options of each tweet. Everyone can press it and share a few seconds of the post via the WhatsApp app with the people you pick. For now, the button is still in the beta testing version.

Twitter has shared an official statement about this change on its page. The company said that they decided to provide a new button exclusively in India. They have replaced the old share icon for WhatsApp since it is the fastest way to exchange posts you like with friends. This option is available for Android users. To be able to share your favorite Twitter posts, you also need to have a WhatsApp app and live in India. India is the biggest market for WhatsApp and the most attractive place for social networks that require a wider audience to increase their income. The company offered to share the posts on the LinkedIn platform as well.

Do you often share your Twitter posts on other social networks? Do you believe this move will add more popularity to Twitter? Express your thoughts in the comments.
