New Visiting Rules TwitchCon

It would seem that the horrible pandemic of Covid-19 is behind us. The world is finally breathing a sigh of relief. Vaccinations, masks, and other preventive measures were gone. But recent significant conferences have caused quite a sensation.

Twitch has planned several big conventions. One has already taken place in Amsterdam, and another will occur in San Diego in October. The company says it will not must visitors to wear masks or present a Covid-19 Vaccination Certificate.

Twitch partner Nazih Fares visited the conference in Amsterdam. In his review, he said he left the event a couple of hours after it started. The room was crowded enough, so he left worrying about his health.

An upcoming conference in California also garnered critiques. Comic-Con was holding a conference in July in the same building as the Twitch meeting. All attendees were required to present a Covid-19 Vaccination Certificate, wear masks and keep a social distance. Although wearing masks is not mandatory in many areas of California, these preventative measures made visitors feel safe.

Presumably, after some Twitch partners said they did not plan to attend the event unless the company changed its policy, TwinchCon revised its rules.

The company has stated that it respects potential attendees' desire to care for their health. If a person has a reduced immunity or is afraid of getting sick and infecting someone, they should feel safe at such events.

To get to TwitchCon in San Diego, visitors over five years old must wear a mask. Besides, they must provide a certificate of complete vaccination or a negative test for Covid-19.

The CDC has recently softened its quarantine requirements. However, the person who has had contact with the disease must wear a mask for ten days and be tested after five days. In case of a positive result, one must go into self-isolation for five days.
