WhatsApp Builds Drawing Tools for Videos and Images

Developers of WhatsApp are actively working on designing the new tools that will help users to draw on videos and pictures. The app continues to receive more features to attract users’ attention. Previously developers made the app securer. They have also improved the messaging experience, making it richer and simpler to use. There are a few more features that are yet to be released, including the extra drawing tool for visual content.

In the fresh Android beta version of the app, WABetaInfo has found a couple of drawing pencils. It looks like there will be three of them. These tools are present in the built-in editor of images. Icons that were revealed indicate that the pencils you use can be edited. Users will be able to choose the size of the line, making it thicker or thinner. For now, WhatsApp offers the ability to change the color of the pencil you use, without changing thickness.

Apart from that, WhatsApp is working on the ability to blur images with the new tool. The company developed this service for the Android app originally. You may blur things you don’t want anyone to see on photos and screenshots before you share them with other users. Although there is no extra information on other tools, WhatsApp continues to work on drawing features, extending their number. It is also still unknown when these tools will be revealed to the broad audience. One we know for sure, WhatsApp has to test these instruments in the beta version before releasing anything.

Compared to WhatsApp's latest inventions, Telegram has more to offer when it comes to editing. The competitor provides a wide range of emojis, screen sharing, spoiler styling, animated background, and even special themes for every chat. Yet, WhatsApp is still more popular, with 2 billion users around the world and 5 billion downloads from Google PlayStore.
