The 2021 Award Winners of App Store

It’s almost the end of the year, and Apple revealed the information about the winners of the App Store Awards. The company shares a list of the best apps and games every year. It picks top mobile services for iPhone, iPad, and other Apple devices. For instance, “Toca Life World” made by Toca Boca became the iPhone App of the Year. Riot Games released the “League of Legends: Wild Rift,” which was announced as the best iPhone game in 2021. Apple’s choice of the best apps shows the novelties on the market and what gained the most attention of users.

This year, the Toca Boca platform won for another reason. Ten years have passed since this app-maker launched its first game for children. More than 40 other apps made by Toca Boca appeared on the App Store after that event. “Toca Life World” connects all previous games. Apple claimed these developers were masters in creating kids’ apps to allow them both to play and express themselves. 

The winner of the iPad App of the Year is “LumaFusion” by LumaTouch, and the best iPad game is “MARVEL Future Revolution” created by Netmarble. Apple TV games reached a new graphics and gameplay level this year. “Space Marshals 3” from Pixelbite is the top Apple TV Game in 2021. Apple TV App of the Year is “DAZN” released by DAZN Group. “Myst” from Cyan is the best Mac Game in 2021; Mac App of the Year is “Craft” created by Luki Labs Limited. “Carrot Weather” developed by Grailr is an Apple Watch App of the Year. 

There is also a winner of the Apple Arcade Game of the Year called Fantasian, which is available for most Apple devices. The game was made by Mistwalker, the developer of the Final Fantasy series.
