SEGA Pulls the Plug on Hyenas

Sega has already invested substantial resources and finances into the development and promotion of Hyenas at major events like Gamescom. However, a recent press release from SegaSammy suggests that these efforts may have been in vain as Creative Assembly's looter shooter is being discontinued.

In a statement about the company's restructuring of its European developers and bases, Sega said:

"Due to the reduced profitability of the European region, we have evaluated the title portfolio of each development base in Europe and the resulting decision is to cancel 'HYENAS' and some undisclosed titles currently in development."

The statement did not specify which undisclosed titles will be cancelled.Hyenas was slated to launch this year after several betas and test periods.
