Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile Unveiled

After months of speculation and leaks, Activision recently unveiled the mobile rendition of Call of Duty’s hit battle royale, Warzone. Keep reading this post for the most recent news, details, the potential release date, and other stuff related to the upcoming mobile title.

In a concise blog post, Activision informed their readers that they are building a brand new, top-level mobile gaming adventure that will take the super exciting and extensive Call of Duty: Warzone gameplay to a brand new, smartphone-based level. Also, according to the publisher, the mobile rendition of Warzone is being crafted for mobile gadgets from the ground up, meaning it will not be a direct port of the existing version.

Furthermore, Activision specifies that Warzone Mobile will be on a mission to entertain gaming fans across the globe for long periods of time. Therefore, we can expect a treasure trove of post-release updates and new content, similar to the game’s console and PC versions.

With regard to the launch date of the mobile rendition of the mobile title, it hasn’t been provided yet. It looks like the title is still being developed, for Activision is now posting job listings for the game and doesn’t provide any pictures, trailers, or even an approximate rollout timeframe. At the same time, the publisher intends to roll out Warzone 2 next year, which suggests that Warzone Mobile may be launched as a parallel mobile iteration. We’re not stating facts here, of course. This is just speculation.

Activision also hasn’t yet mentioned if the on-the-go game rendition will let you play against other mobile gamers or will offer a cross-platform experience.
